Role Description As a WordPress Developer Intern at SRIYOG, you will support the design, development, and maintenance of WordPress-based websites for internal and client projects. On a day-to-day basis, you will assist with creating and customizing themes, updating plugins, building new pages, and ensuring websites are user-friendly and visually consistent with branding guidelines. You will help troubleshoot issues, optimize site performance, and contribute to responsive layouts across devices. Collaboration with senior developers and designers on task planning, implementation, and testing will be a key part of your responsibilities. This is a remote internship role, offering flexible learning opportunities while working with a professional IT consulting team.
Qualifications
Foundational skills in Web Development and WordPress setup, configuration, and maintenance.
Front-End Development skills, including HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for customizing themes and layouts.
Web Design and Responsive Web Design skills to create accessible, user-centered interfaces that function well on multiple devices.
Basic Back-End Web Development skills, such as working with PHP and WordPress hooks for custom functionality.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail when testing and debugging website features.
Ability to learn quickly, follow technical documentation, and collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and content management workflows is beneficial.
Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
