Role Description The Human Resources Intern role is a full-time, remote position supporting the HR function across staffing, policy administration, and employee support activities. The intern will assist with maintaining employee records, helping coordinate recruitment and onboarding tasks, and supporting the development and documentation of HR policies and procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing HR communications, organizing information related to employee benefits, and helping ensure compliance with internal guidelines. The role also involves collaborating with team members on HR projects, conducting basic research on HR best practices, and providing general administrative support to the HR team.
Qualifications
Foundational knowledge of Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with interest in developing practical HR skills.
Understanding of HR Policies and Employee Benefits, including the ability to learn and apply guidelines accurately.
Basic experience or academic exposure to Personnel Management, such as employee lifecycle or workforce planning concepts.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and handle confidential information responsibly.
Proficiency with standard office and collaboration tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, document editors, video conferencing).
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or coursework in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Interest in staffing, organizational development, and process improvement within growing businesses.
