Role Description This full-time, on-site Mernstack Developer role is based in Bengaluru and is focused on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js. On a day-to-day basis, the developer will implement RESTful APIs, integrate front-end components with back-end services, and ensure responsive, user-friendly interfaces. Responsibilities include writing clean, testable code, participating in code reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product management, UI/UX, and QA to deliver high-quality features. The role also involves debugging and optimizing application performance, maintaining documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement of development processes and tools. The developer is expected to work closely with senior engineers to align implementations with architectural standards and best practices.
Qualifications
Strong MERN stack skills, including MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js, with at least 1 year of hands-on development experience.
Proficiency in core web technologies such as JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end practices including component-based architecture and responsive design.
Experience with backend development concepts including RESTful API design, authentication/authorization (e.g., JWT, OAuth), and integration with databases and third-party services.
Knowledge of software engineering practices such as version control (Git), unit and integration testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools (e.g., Docker) is an advantage.
Ability to collaborate in a team environment, communicate clearly, and manage tasks independently in a fast-paced setting.
