Role Description The Robotics Intern role at Weskill is a remote internship focused on learning and applying robotics and automation concepts in practical projects. Day-to-day responsibilities may include assisting in the design and testing of robotic systems, supporting process automation tasks, and contributing to mechatronics-related development and troubleshooting. The intern will collaborate with mentors and team members to document findings, refine system performance, and implement improvements based on feedback and data. This role offers exposure to real-world applications of robotics and automation while building technical and professional skills in a structured learning environment.
Qualifications
Foundational knowledge and interest in Robotics and Robot systems, including basic principles of control, sensing, and actuation.
Understanding of Automation and Process Automation concepts, with the ability to support workflow optimization and system integration tasks.
Exposure to Mechatronics, combining mechanical, electrical, and software elements in system design and testing.
Currently enrolled in or recently completed an undergraduate program in engineering, robotics, mechatronics, computer science, or a related field.
Ability to learn quickly, follow technical guidance, and work independently in a remote environment.
Basic programming skills (e.g., Python, C/C++, or similar) and familiarity with simulation or CAD tools are beneficial.
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication skills.
