Role Description The IT/DevOps Engineer will be responsible for managing and optimizing development, testing, and production environments, ensuring reliable infrastructure and smooth deployment processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring and maintaining servers, monitoring system performance, implementing automation scripts, and supporting continuous integration and delivery pipelines. The role involves collaborating with development teams to improve build and release processes, enhancing system security and reliability, and troubleshooting infrastructure and application issues. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mohali district, requiring close coordination with cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects and new solution implementations.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong System Administration skills, including managing servers, networks, and security in production and non-production environments.
Candidates should possess Linux expertise, including command-line proficiency, shell scripting, and performance monitoring in Linux-based systems.
Candidates should possess Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills, with experience using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar automation frameworks.
Candidates should possess Continuous Integration skills, including working with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms.
Candidates should possess Software Development skills, with an ability to read, understand, and contribute to code in at least one programming or scripting language.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization/orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is highly beneficial.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams are required.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
