Role Description The IT/DevOps Engineer will work on-site in the Mohali district, collaborating closely with development and operations teams to support and optimize the company’s technology infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing and automating server and cloud environments, implementing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code workflows, and overseeing system administration tasks for Linux-based systems. The role involves setting up and maintaining continuous integration pipelines, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and improving reliability and security across environments. The IT/DevOps Engineer will also support application deployments, contribute to internal tooling development, and document processes and standards to ensure consistent and efficient operations.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills, including experience with tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
Candidates should possess solid System Administration and Linux skills for managing servers, user access, security, and performance tuning.
Candidates should possess Continuous Integration skills, including setting up and maintaining CI pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar.
Candidates should possess Software Development skills in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, Go, or Java) to build automation and tooling.
Relevant experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization/orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is highly beneficial.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and aptitude for working in cross-functional teams are required.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
