Lead - TTU Production (Fabrication & Blasting/Painting)

Designation: Lead - TTU Production (Fabrication & Blasting/Painting)
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead and manage end‑to‑end TTU production operations covering fabrication as well as blasting & painting activities
Drive achievement of production KPIs related to safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost per ton
Oversee fabrication processes including plate rolling, fit‑up, welding (SAW), flange assembly, and dimensional control
Manage surface preparation and coating operations including grit/shot blasting, priming, intermediate, and final painting
Ensure strict adherence to drawings, WPS/WPQ, paint systems, SOPs, and customer quality requirements
Plan and coordinate seamless handover between fabrication and blasting/painting to avoid bottlenecks and rework
Optimize utilization of bays, welding stations, paint booths, manpower, cranes, and material flow
Monitor and improve key KPIs such as output, cycle time, weld repair %, DFT compliance, rework, and yield losses
Coordinate closely with Planning, Logistics, Materials, Quality, Maintenance, and HSE teams
Ensure robust HSE compliance related to welding safety, lifting, chemical handling, fire safety, and painting operations
Lead shift planning, deployment, skill development, and performance management of production teams
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for productivity enhancement, defect reduction, and conversion cost optimization
Additional Responsibilities:
Prior experience in TTU / tower / monopole / heavy fabrication manufacturing plants preferred
Exposure to customer‑driven delivery schedules, coating inspection requirements, and recovery plans desirable
High focus on safety, quality compliance, and delivery adherence essential
Willingness to work in shifts and handle delivery‑critical operational exigencies
