Role Description The Senior Mechanical Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Panipat. The individual will lead mechanical design activities, develop and review detailed engineering drawings, and ensure that machinery and systems meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include conducting technical analyses, overseeing CAD modeling, coordinating with clients and vendors, and guiding the implementation of design solutions on the shop floor or in the field. The role also involves managing project timelines and budgets, preparing technical documentation, and supporting research and development initiatives to improve existing products or processes. The Senior Mechanical Engineer is expected to work independently, prioritize multiple assignments, and provide clear technical direction to stakeholders and collaborators.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with proven experience in mechanical systems and component design.
Proficiency in Machine Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating, reviewing, and optimizing detailed engineering drawings.
Experience in Project Management, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and risk mitigation for engineering projects.
Background in Research and Development (R&D) for investigating new concepts, improving existing designs, and supporting innovation initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Ability to interpret standards and codes, perform engineering calculations, and apply best practices for safety and reliability.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with clients, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams, and for preparing clear technical reports.
Demonstrated capability to work on-site in industrial or manufacturing environments and manage hands-on engagement with equipment and processes.
