𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲We are looking for a highly skilled and self-reliant Senior Storage & Backup Administrator to take end-to-end ownership of our enterprise storage, SAN, and backup infrastructure.
The role involves managing a hybrid environment comprising Dell EMC PowerMax, NetApp Storage, Brocade SAN Switches, and EMC NetWorker.
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀Manage, configure, provision, and optimize Dell EMC PowerMax and NetApp ONTAP storage.Administer EMC NetWorker backup and recovery operations, including backup policies, restores, and cloning.Configure and troubleshoot Brocade SAN switches, Fibre Channel zoning, aliases, and fabric routing.Manage physical/virtual tape libraries, media rotation, archiving, and tape-drive troubleshooting.Act as a Tier 3 escalation point for complex storage, SAN, and backup issues.Troubleshoot host connectivity, storage performance, backup failures, and infrastructure faults.Coordinate directly with vendors such as Dell, NetApp, and Brocade for technical escalations and hardware replacements.Ensure availability, reliability, and smooth day-to-day operation of the complete storage and backup environment.𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀Strong hands-on experience with Dell EMC PowerMax and NetApp ONTAP.Expertise in EMC NetWorker backup and recovery.Strong knowledge of Brocade SAN switches and Fibre Channel zoning.Experience with tape libraries, media management, and archival processes.Excellent troubleshooting skills across storage, SAN, host connectivity, and backup environments.Ability to work independently as the primary/sole SME for the infrastructure.Strong vendor-management and escalation experience.Ideal CandidateA proactive professional who can independently manage business-critical storage and backup infrastructure, troubleshoot complex issues, coordinate with vendors, and take complete ownership of the environment.
