Codians is looking for an experienced L2 Operations Engineer – Data Tribe to support and maintain enterprise data and analytics platforms, with a primary focus on Power BI, Tableau, and Snowflake.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in L2 production support, incident management, data platform administration, access and licence management, and application stability. The role involves resolving production issues, coordinating with cross-functional technical teams, and escalating complex issues to L3 support when required.
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀
• Manage incidents end to end, from L1.5 escalation through resolution and closure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve L2 production break-fix issues, escalating complex problems to L3 with detailed findings.
• Support Power BI and Tableau administration, including user access, data sources, and refresh failures.
• Monitor application stability and perform performance analysis and tuning.
• Manage user access to data platforms and track software licences and expiry dates.
• Coordinate with administration teams on user, workspace, and server patch-related queries.
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Defect Elimination Plan (DEP) reviews.
• Maintain accurate ServiceNow tickets with clear resolution and closure notes.
• Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and knowledge-base articles.
• Collaborate with Database, Hosting, Identity and Access Management (IDAM), and Network teams to resolve cross-functional issues.
• Support data pipelines, ETL processes, and analytics platform operations.
• Use monitoring and alerting tools to identify issues and maintain platform reliability.
• Required Technical Skills
• BI & Analytics: Power BI, Tableau
• Data Warehousing: Snowflake, Google BigQuery, Databricks
• Cloud Platform: AWS
• Data Ingestion: Fivetran, AWS Glue
• Orchestration: Apache Airflow
• Data Transformation: dbt
• Master Data Management: Informatica MDM
• Security: DV Engine (inbuilt)
• Monitoring: Datadog, AWS CloudWatch, and cloud-native monitoring tools
• Infrastructure & CI/CD: Terraform, GitHub
• ITSM: ServiceNow
• Work Management: Jira
• Additional Skills: SQL, relational databases, Python scripting, data pipelines, and ETL
• Required Experience & Qualifications
• Approximately 12 years of L2 data platform support experience.
• Experience working in a 24×7 support environment.
• Hands-on experience administering Power BI or Tableau, including access management, data sources, and refresh-failure troubleshooting.
• Strong production support, break-fix, and incident escalation experience.
• Experience with software licence management and user access administration.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Understanding of ITSM incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.

• Microsoft PL-300 – Power BI Data Analyst
• Tableau Desktop or Tableau Server Certification
• Snowflake SnowPro Core
• Snowflake SnowPro Advanced: Administrator
• dbt and Fivetran certifications
