About the Opportunity
We are hiring on behalf of our client, a technology-driven logistics and cross-border e-commerce shipping business serving Indian exporters, D2C brands and global sellers (client name confidential at this stage), for a Senior Manager - Finance based in Delhi. As the business scales with high-volume international transactions, it is strengthening the finance function - this is a build mandate with direct visibility to senior leadership and exposure to investors.

About the Role
The Senior Manager - Finance owns end-to-end accounting, book closure and financial control, and leads the statutory and internal audit cycle in line with Indian GAAP. The role carries full ownership of compliance, builds the internal control and governance framework, and partners with leadership on budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
It is a hands-on, execution-heavy role for someone who wants to build finance systems rather than inherit them.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Control
• Own end-to-end accounting, book closure and financial control.
• Lead monthly and annual closing - journal entries, accruals, provisions, reconciliations and audit schedules.
• Maintain books of accounts on ZOHO.
Audit, Tax & Compliance
• Lead statutory audits, internal audits and compliance frameworks in line with Indian GAAP.
• Independently handle GST, TDS and Income Tax returns, reconciliations and statutory documentation.
• Drive internal controls, risk management and governance processes.
Business Partnering & Planning
• Partner closely with leadership on budgeting, forecasting and cost controls.
• Support investor reporting and build scale-ready finance processes.
Team Leadership
• Build and manage a finance team of 4-5 members.
What We Are Looking For
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• 8 to 10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong grounding in accounting, audits and financial controls, with strong analytical capability.
• Proven ownership of monthly and annual close.
• Independent handling of GST, TDS and Income Tax compliance.
• Experience setting up or improving finance systems and processes.
• Comfortable in a hands-on, execution-heavy role with real ownership.
Preferred
• Startup experience.
• Exposure to high-volume international transactions or cross-border commerce.
• Working knowledge of ZOHO Books.
