Role Description
The New Product Development Manager – Protein is responsible for leading end-to-end development of protein-based products, from concept to commercial launch. This full-time, on-site role is based in Connaught Place and involves coordinating cross-functional activities with R&D, quality, manufacturing, marketing, and supply chain teams. Day-to-day tasks include market and consumer research, formulation development, product testing, and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and product safety. The manager will oversee project timelines, budgets, and vendor partnerships, while continuously improving existing products and identifying new opportunities in the health and wellness protein segment.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Research and Development (R&D) with a focus on protein-based or nutrition products.
Professional background in Food Technology and Food Science, including knowledge of formulation, ingredients, and processing methods.
Experience in Project Management, including planning, execution, and monitoring of product development initiatives.
Hands-on experience in the Food Industry, preferably in health, wellness, or nutraceutical product categories.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail.
Experience in vegan and vegetarian product development or plant-based proteins is an advantage.
