We are looking for an enthusiastic and technically curious Engineering Lab Operations Engineer to support the day-to-day operation of TII Bench Lab. The role provides exposure to electronic test and measurement equipment, equipment lifecycle management, calibration, lab infrastructure, data analytics, automation and digital transformation. The candidate will work closely with Lab Operations, Engineering teams, Facilities, EHS, IT and equipment vendors to improve laboratory efficiency, equipment availability and user experience. Strong engineering fundamentals, willingness to learn and a problem-solving mindset are important.
Key Responsibilities -
Ensuring that lab environment meets IATF 16949/ISO 9001 standard.
Ensuring timely calibration of all instruments and maintaining proper and accurate records.
Contribute to the overall Lab operations roadmap and strategy by introducing automated workflows, process and SMART automations
Contribute to Developing the budget requirement (CAPEX, OPEX)
Ensure Lab operations are executed seamlessly by providing required assistance to Lab Users.
Ensure to respond and address timely & effectively to the critical inquiries/technical issues
Preferred Skills -
- Python/Pandas, SQL, Spotfire/Power BI, SharePoint, Power Automate
- SCPI/GPIB/instrument automation experience
- Academic AI/ML projects or semiconductor testing exposure

Minimum requirements:
BTECH (Electronics/ECE/Embedded or other)
1-2 years of experience.
Preferred qualifications:
Strong Knowledge of IATF quality standards
Strong Knowledge on ISO 17025 calibration standards
Strong knowledge of Equipment Management
Proficiency in using MS Office packages: word processor, spreadsheet, and presentation
Good analytical and visualizations skills to evaluate Lab operations trends and reports
Basic understanding on Python ,SharePoint, Spotfire & Oracle DB
Vendor and stakeholder management
Effective team player communicator
Proactive towards identifying the issues and solving the problem
