AI Video Editor – DTC Beauty Brand Scaling to $15M/Month Meta Spend (US focused)
Compensation: $2–2.5K base + performance bonus, up to $5–6K/mo

The role in one sentence
You’ll cut performance video ads for a Meta account scaling toward $15M a month, from scroll-stopping hooks to full-length VSLs, and your earnings grow as your ads take on more budget.
The Opportunity
We’re working with an ambitious DTC beauty brand that’s growing fast and investing heavily in paid social. They’re hiring AI-first video editors with a track record of ads that actually convert, ideally built for 8 or 9-figure brands or performance agencies.
AI is part of your daily toolkit. You use it to create footage, produce shots that would be too costly or impossible to film, and multiply every concept into fresh variations, so there’s always new creative ready to test.
You’ll work within a small creative pod under a Senior Creative Strategist. They handle the concept and brief, you handle the edit, and what you deliver is what goes live.
What you’ll do
Edit paid video ads for Meta, from quick hook tests to long-form VSLs.
Create b-roll with a purpose: product application, textures, close-ups, and demos that prove the product works.
Show the product’s benefit fast, so viewers get it within seconds.
Work with AI tools every day for footage, b-roll, voiceover, avatars, and upscaling.
Turn each brief into a set of test-ready variations, and refresh winning ads with new hooks and angles.
Track how your own ads perform and use those insights in your next edit.
Is this you?
You’ve edited performance ads for 8 or 9-figure brands or DR agencies, and you can point to the brands and budgets behind your work.
You’ve worked on beauty or supplement products and know how to make a product look and feel desirable on screen.
You’ve edited long-form VSLs that keep a cold audience watching.
You work with an up-to-date AI stack and know which tool fits which task right now.
You care about results and review the data on your own ads unprompted.
You can produce high volume, fast, without the quality slipping.
Your English is strong enough to follow scripts closely and work through feedback.
This is probably not for you if your background is mainly organic or brand content, you haven’t edited paid ads with real budget behind them, or AI isn’t part of your daily workflow.
