Role Description The Collection Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ujjain. The individual in this role will be responsible for managing overdue accounts, following up with customers through calls and visits, and ensuring timely recovery of outstanding dues while maintaining professional and respectful interactions. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring payment schedules, updating collection status in internal systems, coordinating with the credit and finance teams on risk assessment, and negotiating payment plans where necessary. The role involves verifying customer information, resolving queries related to loan accounts, and documenting all collection activities in accordance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. The Collection Executive will also contribute to improving collection processes and supporting overall portfolio quality.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Credit Control and Debt Collection skills, with experience in managing overdue accounts and payment follow-ups.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to handle customer interactions professionally.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret account data, identify risk patterns, and recommend appropriate collection actions.
Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of Finance, including basic lending concepts and repayment structures.
Relevant experience in collections, banking, NBFCs, or financial services is preferred.
Ability to work on-site in Ujjain, manage field visits, and maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
Proficiency with MS Office and basic digital tools for reporting and documentation.
Minimum educational qualification: graduate degree in commerce, finance, business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Strong ethical standards, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
