WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in JavaScript and WebdriverIO.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using JavaScript and WebdriverIO.
Define and implement test automation strategies to ensure the quality, reliability, and scalability of web and mobile applications.
Develop, execute, and maintain automated functional, regression, and end-to-end tests.
Create and maintain reusable test scripts, utilities, and test components to improve automation efficiency.
Use Mocha and Chai to structure automated tests, manage test execution, and validate application behavior.
Manage test cases, test plans, and test execution results using TestRail.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and reliable software releases.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to identify quality risks and ensure test coverage across critical user journeys.
Investigate, reproduce, document, and track defects, working closely with engineering teams to ensure timely resolution.
Maintain and optimize existing automated test suites, improving stability, execution speed, and maintainability.
Support release readiness by analyzing test results, identifying potential risks, and providing clear feedback on product quality.
Continuously improve testing processes, automation practices, and quality standards across web and mobile products.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
Strong experience and in-depth knowledge of JavaScript and WebdriverIO.
Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools, including Mocha, Chai, and TestRail.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into continuous delivery workflows.
Ability to design, develop, and implement comprehensive test automation strategies.
Experience building and maintaining scalable, reliable, and maintainable automated test suites.
Strong understanding of software testing principles, test planning, regression testing, and quality assurance practices.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and reliability of web and mobile products.
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate defects and ensure reliable releases.
