About Us
Codeyoung is a fast-growing, global EdTech organization dedicated to empowering children with critical 21st-century skills such as Coding, STEM, and Creative Thinking. Operating at scale across international geographies, we combine cutting-edge curriculum with live, interactive learning. We are backed by top-tier investors and driven by a high-ownership, performance-oriented culture.
Role Overview
We are looking for a commercial, data-driven Business Finance Manager to partner directly with our business unit heads and executive leadership.
In this role, you will move beyond traditional accounting to drive business performance, strategic FP&A, revenue governance, unit economics optimization, and financial modeling. You will serve as the core financial compass for the company, evaluating business trade-offs, managing budgets, and converting complex operational data into actionable financial strategy to ensure sustainable, profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic FP&A & Business Partnering
Drive long-term financial modeling, annual budgeting, and monthly/quarterly forecasting (AOP) across all business units (Sales, Marketing, Product, and HR).
Partner with business unit leads (BU Heads) to evaluate revenue growth models, CAC/LTV dynamics, and pricing strategies.
Analyze variances between actuals vs. budgets, identifying financial risks, revenue leakages, and cost-saving opportunities.
2. Commercial Finance & Unit Economics
Own and track core business SaaS/EdTech metrics including Unit Economics, Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Lifetime Value (LTV), Payback Periods, Gross Margins, and Contribution Margins.
Evaluate international expansion models, currency exposures, and cross-border payment efficiency.
Conduct ROI analyses on performance marketing spend, lead acquisition channels, and capital allocation across departments.
3. Management Reporting & Executive Dashboards
Build and maintain real-time financial tracking models and executive dashboards in MS Excel / Google Sheets to present metrics clearly to leadership.
Prepare high-stakes Monthly Management Reports (MIS), board decks, investor updates, and cash flow forecasts.
Oversee financial data integrity across internal trackers, ensuring single-source-of-truth reporting for Finance and Operations.
4. Cost Optimization & Governance
Audit department-level operating expenses (OpEx) to drive cost efficiencies and improve gross profit margins without impacting growth.
Collaborate with accounting and audit teams to ensure seamless financial compliance, revenue recognition alignment, and internal financial controls.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
Educational Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA Qualified / Cleared CA Finals) is mandatory.
Relevant Experience: Minimum 2+ years of core hands-on experience in Business Finance, FP&A, or Corporate Finance (preferably within high-growth Tech, EdTech, D2C, or Startup ecosystems).
Financial Modeling & Spreadsheet Mastery: Exceptional command of MS Excel / Google Sheets (complex financial modeling, dynamic scenario planning, dynamic lookup functions, and pivot tables).
Analytical & Data Aptitude: Strong business acumen with the ability to bridge operational metrics (leads, conversions, CAC) directly into financial P&L outcomes.
Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to influence senior business leads, challenge assumptions constructively, and present financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.
Grit & High Ownership: A proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced work-from-office environment with minimal hand-holding.

High ownership role with immediate impact on company-wide financial decision-making and unit economics.
