Role Description The Senior Web Developer will design, build, and maintain high-performance web applications that integrate closely with DBByte’s infrastructure platform. In this full-time remote role, the individual will implement front-end interfaces, develop back-end services and APIs, and ensure secure, scalable, and maintainable code. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product and design partners, reviewing code, improving application performance, and troubleshooting production issues. The Senior Web Developer will also contribute to technical architecture decisions, mentor other developers, and help define best practices for the web stack.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Back-End Web Development and Programming for building secure, scalable services and APIs.
Proficiency in Front-End Development and Web Design for creating accessible, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces.
Comprehensive Web Development experience across the full stack, including integration with cloud or data infrastructure services.
Hands-on experience with modern web technologies (such as JavaScript/TypeScript, React or similar frameworks, Node.js, or comparable stacks).
Knowledge of performance optimization, security best practices, and cross-browser compatibility.
Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team, including strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience in designing and reviewing system architecture; prior senior or lead developer responsibilities are highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
