Role Description The Frontend Web Developer (Applications) will design, build, and maintain responsive, user-facing interfaces for DBByte’s web applications. This full-time remote role involves implementing UI components, integrating frontend code with backend services, optimizing performance, and ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility. The developer will collaborate closely with product, design, and backend engineering to translate requirements into intuitive, accessible interfaces and iterate based on feedback and analytics. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean, modular code, reviewing peer code, troubleshooting bugs, and contributing to frontend architecture and best practices. The role also includes participating in agile ceremonies, documenting implementations, and helping improve the overall developer experience for the platform.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Front-End Development and Responsive Web Design for modern, user-centric web applications.
Experience with Web Development and Software Development practices, including version control, testing, and code reviews.
Understanding of Back-End Web Development concepts to integrate APIs and collaborate effectively with backend engineers.
Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and experience with at least one modern frontend framework (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular).
Knowledge of performance optimization, accessibility standards, and secure coding practices for web applications.
Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with agile development methodologies and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
