About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Operations Engineer to support hybrid infrastructure across cloud and data center environments. The role requires hands-on experience with Azure, GCP, VMware, enterprise storage, automation, monitoring, and security tools.
Responsibilities
Support Windows Server, VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter environments.
Manage enterprise storage, including PURE Storage provisioning, monitoring, snapshots, and replication.
Administer Azure and GCP resources including compute, storage, networking, and IAM.
Perform patching, upgrades, backups, and vulnerability remediation.
Develop automation using Ansible, PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
Support Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or ARM templates.
Monitor infrastructure using Datadog, Signoz, OpenTelemetry, or equivalent tools.
Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and address performance/capacity issues.
Support security, compliance, disaster recovery, and business continuity activities.
Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
Required Skills & Experience
5–7 years of experience in IT systems administration, cloud operations, or data center engineering.
Strong Windows Server administration experience.
Hands-on VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter experience.
Working knowledge of Azure administration.
Experience with patch management tools such as Ansible, SCCM, or WSUS.
Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
Familiarity with monitoring platforms such as Datadog, Signoz, or SolarWinds.
Understanding of vulnerability management and remediation.
Strong infrastructure, networking, and cloud troubleshooting skills.
Experience applying automation and AI-driven solutions to operational workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Azure or GCP, including compute, storage, networking, and IAM.
Familiarity with Terraform or ARM templates.
Experience with Ansible automation.
Experience with PURE Storage.
Exposure to HashiCorp Vault and GitLab CI/CD.
Familiarity with Okta or Azure AD.
Experience with Power Automate or Tines.
Relevant certifications such as AZ-104, VMware VCP, Google Cloud Associate, or Ansible equivalent.
