Company Description
PortfolioFuture is an independent fund discovery and intelligence company focused on empirical research into ETFs and mutual funds. The organization evaluates and ranks funds, analyzes fund substitution and relative performance, and decomposes investable returns to help investors and financial advisors understand what individual funds truly contribute to portfolios. PortfolioFuture also provides asset managers with insight into where their products have credible evidence to compete and where distribution opportunities exist based on portfolio and ownership intelligence. All research is independent, with commercial relationships having no influence on rankings, substitution results, or conclusions, ensuring a transparent and evidence-based view of the fund landscape. The company is driven by the belief that better products deserve a fair chance to win.
Role Description
This remote internship role as a Generative AI Investment Researcher focuses on applying generative AI tools to support quantitative and qualitative fund research. The intern will collaborate on building and testing prompts, workflows, and prototypes that integrate AI into the research process, and document methodologies, findings, and limitations of AI-assisted analysis. The role also involves preparing internal briefs and materials for investors and asset managers, while following clear guidelines around data quality, research independence, and reproducibility.
