Job Description
Gauri Buildcon Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, financial records, taxation, and vendor/contractor payments.
Candidates with experience in construction companies, infrastructure projects, or government contracting will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day accounting entries, ledgers, and financial records.
Handle purchase and sales invoices, expenses, and payment entries.
Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.
Perform bank reconciliation and maintain cash/bank books.
Manage vendor, supplier, and contractor billing and payments.
Verify bills, vouchers, debit notes, and credit notes.
Maintain site-wise expenses, petty cash, and project accounting records.
Prepare monthly financial reports, outstanding statements, and reconciliations.
Coordinate with the CA for GST returns, TDS filings, audits, and financial statements.
Track receivables, payables, and payment follow-ups.
Required Skills & Qualifications
B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
Proficiency in Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
Practical knowledge of GST, TDS, and bank reconciliation.
Experience in vendor and contractor account management.
Good understanding of accounting principles and financial documentation.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred: Prior accounting experience in construction, infrastructure, or government projects.
