Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Full Stack Developer Intern at Laneway. The intern will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications across both front-end and back-end stacks. Day-to-day tasks may include implementing user interfaces, writing clean and efficient code, integrating APIs, and supporting database operations. The intern will collaborate with senior developers and consultants to translate business requirements into functional technical solutions, troubleshoot issues, and participate in code reviews. The role also involves learning and applying best practices in software development, testing, and documentation within an agile, fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Front-End Development, including experience with HTML, JavaScript, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
Candidates should possess skills in Back-End Web Development, including working with server-side frameworks, APIs, and databases.
Candidates should possess skills in Software Development and Full-Stack Development, with an understanding of application architecture and integration.
Basic familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows is beneficial.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new technologies are expected.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote, team-based setting are required.
Pursuing or having recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
