Financial Accountant

Role: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
Own day-to-day accounting operations in Tally.
Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and financial records.
Handle bank, vendor, customer, and payment gateway reconciliations.
Ensure proper accounting entries, ledger grouping, and expense classification.
Support monthly book closure and MIS reporting.
2. GST & Tax Compliance
Handle GST reconciliations and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and other applicable returns.
Strong understanding of TDS provisions, deductions, payments, and return filing.
Ensure timely statutory compliance and maintain supporting documentation.
Coordinate with external CAs, auditors, and tax consultants.
3. Financial Operations & Coordination
Coordinate with vendors, customers, banks, and external finance partners.
Track receivables, payables, and payment settlements.
Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies proactively.
Support financial reporting, audits, and process improvements.
What We're Looking For
Strong working knowledge of Tally Prime – must-have.
Practical experience in GST filing, reconciliations, and TDS compliance.
Good understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
Strong Excel and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills to independently coordinate with external stakeholders.
High attention to detail, ownership, and problem-solving ability.
Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
A proactive mindset – someone who identifies problems and drives solutions rather than waiting for instructions.
