Role Description The Python Flask Web Developer is a full-time remote role responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using Python and the Flask framework. On a day-to-day basis, this role involves implementing back-end APIs, integrating databases, and ensuring application performance, security, and scalability. The developer will collaborate with front-end team members to connect user interfaces with server-side logic, troubleshoot issues, and participate in code reviews. Responsibilities also include writing clean, testable code, documenting technical solutions, and contributing to the improvement of development standards and workflows.
Qualifications
Strong programming skills with Python and experience building applications using the Flask framework.
Proficiency in back-end web development, including RESTful APIs, database integration, and server-side logic.
Skills in front-end development and web design, using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to support user interfaces.
Solid understanding of general web development principles, including security, performance optimization, and responsive design.
Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage priorities, and meet project deadlines.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
