Role Description The Information Technology Web Developer is a full-time remote role responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and websites. Day-to-day tasks include building and optimizing front-end and back-end components, integrating APIs, and ensuring site performance, security, and scalability. The role involves collaborating with designers, content creators, and IT team members to translate business requirements into functional, user-friendly web solutions. The Web Developer will troubleshoot technical issues, perform code reviews, and keep documentation up to date while staying informed about emerging web technologies and best practices.
Qualifications
Strong Front-End Development skills, including modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, such as server-side languages, databases, and API integration.
Solid Web Development foundation, including responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
Experience in Information Technology environments, including basic networking, security awareness, and system troubleshooting.
Background in Software Development practices, including version control (e.g., Git), testing, and debugging.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective written and verbal communication.
Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, or DevOps tools is a plus.
