Full Stack Tester (Selenium + Karate API)

Job Description – Full Stack Tester
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Full Stack Tester to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of both UI and API layers of applications, with a strong focus on automation and agile practices.
Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver for UI testing.
Perform API testing using the Karate Framework; use Postman for manual API validation when required.
Write and manage test cases, user stories, and defects in JIRA.
Validate backend data using basic SQL queries.
Collaborate with developers, BAs, and other testers in Agile Scrum teams.
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.
Identify test scenarios and perform both functional and regression testing.
Ensure traceability of test cases to business requirements.
Document and communicate testing progress and results clearly.
Required Skills:
· Hands-on experience in Selenium automation with BDD Framework (Java preferred).
Strong understanding of testing concepts and SDLC/STLC processes.
Proficiency in API testing, especially using Karate Framework.
Experience using Postman for manual API validation.
Basic understanding of SQL for data verification.
Familiarity with Agile testing practices and tools like JIRA.
Good communication and analytical skills.
Preferred:
· Prior experience in the Banking domain or financial services testing.
