Role Description The Frontend Web Developer Intern (Unpaid) will collaborate with the product and engineering teams to build and refine user-facing interfaces for SJA Pathway’s web platforms. Day-to-day tasks include implementing responsive layouts, integrating UI components, optimizing performance, and ensuring cross-browser compatibility. The intern will assist in translating design mockups into clean, maintainable code, troubleshooting frontend issues, and contributing to iterative feature improvements. This is a part-time remote role, offering flexible hours and exposure to real-world projects in an AI-driven environment.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Front-End Development and Responsive Web Design for building intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.
Candidates should possess skills in Web Development and Software Development to contribute to scalable, maintainable codebases.
Candidates should possess foundational understanding of Back-End Web Development to collaborate effectively with full-stack teams.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (and at least one modern frontend framework such as React, Vue, or Angular) is beneficial.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and willingness to learn from feedback are important.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with distributed teams is required.
Enrollment in or completion of a relevant program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is a plus but not mandatory.
