Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Junior Designer at DBByte. The Junior Designer will support the design team by creating visuals for digital products, marketing materials, and brand assets aligned with DBByte’s design guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with user interface layouts, preparing design files and assets, collaborating with product and engineering teams, and iterating on feedback to refine designs. The role also involves maintaining visual consistency across platforms, preparing documentation for design systems, and contributing creative ideas to enhance user experience and brand communication.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in visual and graphic design, including layout, typography, and color theory.
Experience with common design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator).
Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design for web and mobile interfaces.
Ability to follow brand guidelines while contributing fresh, creative concepts.
Attention to detail in preparing assets, exporting files, and maintaining organized design libraries.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with remote, cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and respond constructively to feedback.
Relevant education or training in design, visual communication, or a related field; internship or portfolio demonstrating design work is strongly preferred.
Interest in technology, digital products, or data infrastructure is a plus.
