- Coordinate with editors, writers, curators, and other contributors to identify suitable material for upcoming editions.
- Maintain an editorial calendar and manage newsletter production deadlines.
- Verify factual information, links, names, dates, and other details before publication.
- Collaborate with the design and digital teams to improve newsletter readability, layout, and presentation.
- Support the preparation and distribution of newsletters using appropriate email marketing platforms.
- Monitor available performance indicators, including delivery rates, opens, clicks, subscriptions, and unsubscribes.
- Use audience feedback and performance data to refine content selection, subject lines, structure, and frequency.
- Help develop newsletter concepts for different artistic themes, editorial series, or audience interests.
- Maintain consistency in De Art's editorial voice and communication standards.
- Follow responsible email communication practices and applicable privacy and subscription requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Journalism, Communications, Art History, Cultural Studies, Publishing, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong interest in visual arts, contemporary culture, and digital publishing.
- Excellent English writing, editing, proofreading, and research skills.
- Ability to summarize complex subjects accurately and communicate them in a concise, engaging manner.
- Strong editorial judgment and the ability to identify relevant stories for a defined audience.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage recurring publication deadlines.
- Familiarity with email newsletters, email marketing platforms, or digital publishing tools is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of audience analytics and email campaign performance is desirable.
- Experience with content management systems, editorial calendars, or digital content workflows is a plus.
- Attention to detail when checking facts, links, formatting, and publication requirements.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with editorial, design, and digital teams.
- Previous experience producing newsletters, cultural publications, arts journalism, or audience-focused editorial content is an advantage.
WHAT WE OFFER
- The opportunity to develop a distinctive newsletter experience for an independent digital art platform.
- Direct involvement in editorial planning, content curation, and audience development.
