Role Description The Full Stack Engineer role at DBByte is a full-time remote position responsible for designing, building, and maintaining end-to-end features across the platform. Day-to-day work includes developing and optimizing front-end user interfaces, implementing scalable back-end services and APIs, and integrating data storage and content delivery capabilities. The engineer collaborates with product, design, and other engineering team members to translate requirements into reliable, testable code. Responsibilities also include code reviews, performance tuning, troubleshooting production issues, and contributing to technical documentation and best practices. This role is suited to someone who enjoys working across the stack and improving developer and customer experiences.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Full-Stack Development and Software Development skills, with experience building end-to-end web applications.
Candidates should possess Back-End Web Development skills, including designing APIs, working with databases, and building scalable services.
Candidates should possess Front-End Development skills, including proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
Candidates should have experience with version control (e.g., Git), automated testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
Candidates should demonstrate effective problem-solving abilities, clear written and verbal communication, and the capacity to work independently in a remote environment.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is preferred; experience with cloud platforms, distributed systems, or data infrastructure is a plus.
