User Experience Designer

Role Description The User Experience Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Thane. This position is responsible for understanding user needs, translating them into intuitive experiences, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver effective digital solutions. Day-to-day tasks include conducting user research, developing personas and user journeys, creating wireframes and interactive prototypes, and designing user flows that align with business requirements. The User Experience Designer will work closely with product, development, and business stakeholders to iterate on designs, validate concepts through testing, and ensure consistency across visual and interaction elements. The role also involves documenting design decisions, presenting work to internal and client teams, and contributing to continuous improvement of design processes and standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong User Experience (UX) and Design Thinking skills, including the ability to solve complex problems through user-centered approaches.
Candidates should possess User Research skills, such as conducting interviews, surveys, usability tests, and analyzing qualitative and quantitative insights.
Candidates should possess Visual Design skills, including typography, layout, color theory, and creating polished interfaces that align with brand guidelines.
Candidates should possess Prototyping skills, including building low- and high-fidelity prototypes and iterating based on testing and stakeholder feedback.
Relevant skills such as information architecture, interaction design, and familiarity with design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) are beneficial.
A bachelor’s degree in design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
Ability to present and communicate design rationale clearly, collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Experience designing for business or consulting environments and a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX work are strong advantages.
