Role Description The Business Management Intern will support day-to-day business operations and strategic initiatives in a full-time, remote role. Responsibilities include assisting with business planning activities, supporting data collection and analysis for market research, and helping prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, maintain project trackers, and contribute to customer-facing communications. Additional tasks may involve responding to basic customer inquiries, helping maintain CRM or project management tools, and contributing ideas to improve operational efficiency and business workflows. This role offers practical experience in business management within a technical, innovation-driven company.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and support decision-making.
Foundational knowledge of business and business planning, with an interest in operations, strategy, or project management.
Effective communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to present information concisely.
Customer service orientation, with the ability to handle inquiries professionally and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Management, Economics, Engineering Management, or a related field.
Comfort working remotely, with strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, project management platforms).
Interest in technology, microfabrication, sensors, or advanced engineering environments is a plus.
