About The Opportunity
A leading manufacturer in the consumer goods sector, specializing in plush soft toys and licensed character merchandise, we blend creativity with precision operations to deliver high-quality products to global retailers and e-commerce platforms. Our production planning team ensures seamless alignment between design, sourcing, and manufacturing—transforming seasonal trends and IP licensing into scalable, on-time, and cost-efficient output.
Role & Responsibilities
Develop and maintain master production schedules based on forecasted demand, inventory levels, and factory capacity.
Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and quality teams to ensure raw materials and components arrive just-in-time for production runs.
Monitor daily shop floor performance using KPIs like OTD, utilization rate, and scrap ratio; trigger corrective actions for variances.
Interface with design and marketing teams to align production timelines with new product launch schedules and promotional windows.
Optimize batch sizes and sequence planning to reduce changeover times and maximize machine efficiency.
Generate weekly production reports and dashboards for management review, highlighting risks, bottlenecks, and contingency plans.
