Role Description The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing all branch operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality service to customers. This full-time, on-site role is based in Patna and includes managing branch staff, setting performance goals, and monitoring daily activities to drive sales and customer satisfaction. The Branch Manager will oversee policy issuance, claims support, and compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements, while maintaining accurate records and reports. The role involves developing local marketing initiatives, building relationships with customers and business partners, and identifying opportunities to grow the branch’s portfolio. The Branch Manager will also handle escalated customer issues, coach team members, and ensure a safe, efficient, and customer-focused branch environment.
Qualifications
Proven experience in branch management, retail operations, or a similar leadership role within financial services or insurance.
Strong people management skills, including team supervision, performance coaching, and conflict resolution.
Solid understanding of sales processes, customer service best practices, and basic financial and operational metrics.
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with customers, local businesses, and internal stakeholders.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle escalations and complex inquiries.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage documentation, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
Comfort with using office productivity tools and branch management systems; willingness to learn new technologies.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in place of formal education.
Previous experience in insurance or banking is an advantage, as is knowledge of local market conditions in Patna.
Ability to work on-site full time in Patna and adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
