Role Description The Vice President Information Technology at HiPayFin is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading the overall technology vision and execution across the organization. This role oversees IT operations, infrastructure, security, applications, and enterprise architecture to ensure reliable, secure, and compliant systems. The VP IT collaborates with executive leadership to define IT strategy aligned with business goals, leads project prioritization, and manages technology budgets and vendor relationships. Day-to-day responsibilities include directing IT teams, monitoring performance and risk, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and guiding the adoption of new technologies and tools. The role also involves establishing policies, standards, and best practices, mentoring IT leaders, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders across the business.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Information Technology, including systems, infrastructure, applications, and security.
Proven experience in IT Management, leading multidisciplinary technology teams and managing complex environments.
Demonstrated ability to define and execute IT Strategy that supports business objectives and growth.
Solid background in Project Management, overseeing technology initiatives from planning through delivery.
Expertise in Strategic Planning, including roadmapping, resource allocation, and risk management.
Experience in financial services or fintech environments, with knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, cybersecurity frameworks, enterprise architecture, and data governance is highly beneficial.
