Company Description PYAAS is a DPIIT-recognized, FSSAI-licensed dairy startup that connects urban households with traceable, high-quality milk from family farms in Uttar Pradesh. Each PYAAS pack carries a QR code that reveals detailed information about the farm, farmer, milk composition, adulteration checks, and the batch’s journey from milking to chilling. The company currently sources milk from four family farms in Gonda, with more farms being carefully mapped, visited, and tested before onboarding. PYAAS offers single farm and family farm milk in Lucknow, small-batch Bilona cow ghee across India, and serves as Parag’s digital storefront for milk and dairy in select Lucknow neighborhoods. All services run on the PYAAS app and the PYAAS Digital Agent Network (P-DAN), enabling local agents to deliver transparent, traceable dairy products to their communities.
Role Description The Software Consultant at PYAAS will work closely with product, operations, and field teams to design, configure, and improve software solutions that power the PYAAS app and digital agent network. This full-time hybrid role is based in Noida, with a mix of on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include understanding business workflows, advising on system architecture, translating requirements into technical specifications, and supporting the implementation of new features and integrations. The role involves working with developers to ensure robust, scalable code, optimizing database performance, and troubleshooting production issues. The Software Consultant will also help document technical processes, provide guidance on best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of internal tools and customer-facing platforms.
Qualifications
Ability to provide expert guidance in Software Consulting and general Consulting, including requirements analysis, solution design, and stakeholder communication.
Hands-on experience with Software Development and Programming, using modern languages and frameworks relevant to web and mobile applications.
Strong understanding of Databases, including schema design, query optimization, and data integrity in production environments.
Experience with system integration, APIs, and cloud-based architectures is highly beneficial.
Comfort working in a startup environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
Good written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clear documentation and user-focused thinking.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
