About the role

Sales & Business Development Manager – Scandinavia (m/f/d)
Automotive Suppliers | Building & Construction | General Industry
Win new customers. Develop technical solutions. Grow ATP in Scandinavia.
ATP adhesive systems, part of Henkel, develops and manufactures high-performance adhesive tape solutions, with a strong focus on water-based technologies. We combine specialist expertise in customised tapes with the international reach and complementary capabilities of Henkel Adhesive Technologies.
To expand our business in Scandinavia, we are looking for a commercially driven sales professional with a clear hunter mindset. You enjoy approaching new customers, understanding their challenges and turning technical opportunities into profitable, lasting business.
Your territory will cover ATP’s industrial markets, with a particular focus on automotive suppliers, building and construction, and general industry, alongside opportunities in electronics, medical and graphics applications. Winning new customers and projects will be your primary focus, complemented by developing selected existing accounts.
What you will do
Acquire new customers: Identify and approach target accounts, including automotive Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, building-material manufacturers, industrial manufacturers, converters and distribution partners.
Develop the Scandinavian market: Build and execute a territory growth plan, prioritising customers and applications where ATP’s capabilities provide a clear competitive advantage.
Lead projects through to business: Manage the sales process from prospecting and opportunity qualification through product selection, sampling, customer trials, negotiation and commercial launch.
Sell technical and commercial value: Understand customers’ materials, production processes and bonding requirements, and demonstrate how ATP solutions can improve performance, efficiency and total cost.
Build relationships across customer organisations: Engage purchasing, engineering, product development and production teams to secure new projects and expand existing business.
Connect customers with our expertise: Work closely with application technology, product development and relevant ATP and Henkel colleagues to develop suitable solutions and support customer qualification processes.
Deliver profitable growth: Take ownership of agreed sales, margin and new-business targets, maintaining a qualified opportunity pipeline and reliable CRM forecasts.
What you bring
A proven track record in technical B2B sales, with clear examples of winning new customers and developing profitable business.
A hunter mindset: you initiate conversations, create opportunities, follow up consistently and take responsibility for closing business.
Experience in one or more of our core sectors—automotive suppliers, construction or general industry. Knowledge of adhesive tapes, adhesives, foams, films, converting or related materials is an advantage.
An understanding of Scandinavian business practices and the ability to build trust with customers across the region.
Technical curiosity, a consultative sales approach and the persistence to guide projects through trials and qualification.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, combined with an independent, practical and collaborative working style.
A degree in business, engineering, natural sciences or a comparable qualification; equivalent practical experience is equally valued.
Fluent English and proficiency in at least one Scandinavian language.
Willingness to travel extensively throughout the region.
What we offer
Responsibility for developing ATP’s Scandinavian business, with room to shape priorities and make a visible contribution.
A broad portfolio of adhesive tape solutions and access to experienced technical specialists.
ATP’s specialist expertise, supported by its position within Henkel.
A competitive salary package with a performance-related bonus.
Technical training, professional development and an international team that values initiative, accountability and cooperation.
Ready to turn opportunities into business?
Please apply via our careers portal: https://jobs.atp-ag.com/.
Submit your CV and a short introduction highlighting your success in winning new customers. Please include your salary expectations and earliest possible starting date.
We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds who bring the skills, motivation and commercial drive to succeed.
