Role Description The Vice President Operations is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company’s end-to-end operational activities. This position leads the planning, coordination, and execution of distribution, application, and service processes to ensure timely delivery, quality standards, and cost-efficient operations. The role involves managing budgets and P&L performance, aligning operational strategies with business goals, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across departments. The Vice President Operations collaborates closely with sales, customer service, and technical teams to enhance customer satisfaction, streamline project delivery, and support sustainable growth. Daily responsibilities include monitoring key performance indicators, guiding project execution, resolving escalated issues, and mentoring operations staff to maintain high performance and compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Operations Management and Project Management, with a track record of improving processes and delivering complex initiatives on time and within budget.
Strong background in P&L Management and Strategic Planning, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and aligning operational plans with long-term business objectives.
Proven commitment to Customer Service, with the ability to design and maintain service standards that support high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
Leadership skills to manage remote teams, drive change, and build cross-functional collaboration in a distributed work environment.
Experience in industrial supplies, manufacturing, engineering services, or a related sector is highly beneficial.
Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making abilities, with competence in using data to guide operational improvements.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is an advantage.
