Senior Director of Strategy

Position Overview
As the Senior Director of Strategy, you will spearhead the company’s long-term commercial roadmap, global expansion, and core strategic planning. This is a full-time, remote position open to exceptional strategic management talent based in the United States. You will be responsible for comprehensively evaluating emerging market opportunities, optimizing business models, advancing cross-border capital and business partnerships, and providing data-driven commercial decision support directly to senior leadership.
Core Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Execution: Lead the formulation of the company’s long-term global development strategy, translating the corporate vision into an actionable business growth roadmap.
Market and Competitive Insights: Conduct in-depth research on trends within the CRO and global biopharmaceutical industries, analyzing potential markets, emerging technologies, and competitors.
Business Growth and Innovation: Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, guiding the incubation of innovative business models, the establishment of strategic alliances, and preliminary research for potential mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely and efficiently with the executive team and various business units in a remote environment to ensure the successful implementation of core strategies across business lines and regions.
Qualifications
Experience: Proven experience in corporate strategic planning, management consulting, business development (BD), or related fields. Background in healthcare, biopharmaceuticals, or the CRO industry is preferred.
Professional Skills: Proficiency in business model construction, financial modeling and analysis, market sizing/forecasting, and complex project management.
Decision-making: Exceptional business acumen, a macro-level perspective, and the ability to independently make sharp strategic judgments in complex, rapidly changing environments.
Communication and Leadership: Excellent cross-cultural communication and cross-departmental collaboration skills; ability to independently drive high-level strategic consensus within a global remote work setting.
