Job Description
Mangal Industries is looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Chemist with good knowledge of chemistry to join our team at our Solvent Recovery Plant.
The candidate should have a strong understanding of basic chemistry, chemical properties, solvent characteristics, and industrial chemical processes. Candidates with previous experience in solvent recovery operations will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and supervise day-to-day chemical processes in the solvent recovery plant.
Understand the properties, composition, and behaviour of different industrial solvents.
Conduct laboratory tests and chemical analysis of incoming and recovered solvents.
Monitor the quality of recovered solvents and ensure they meet required specifications.
Assist in solvent recovery, distillation, separation, and purification processes.
Identify process-related issues and assist in troubleshooting.
Maintain proper records of laboratory test results and production parameters.
Ensure safe handling, storage, and processing of chemicals and solvents.
Follow plant safety procedures and maintain proper housekeeping standards.
Candidate Requirements
B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry or an equivalent qualification.
Good fundamental knowledge of chemistry and chemical reactions.
Basic knowledge of laboratory testing and chemical analysis.
Understanding of industrial solvents and their properties.
Good analytical, observation, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work in a plant environment.
Experience
Candidates with experience in a solvent recovery plant will have an added advantage.
Experience in distillation, solvent separation, purification, or chemical processing will be preferred.
Freshers with good chemistry fundamentals and a willingness to learn are also welcome to apply.
