Job Description
We are looking for a System Administrator with strong Python skills to support, automate, and maintain systems and environments used for data science workloads. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Python scripting, system administration, troubleshooting, and automation.
Key Responsibilities
Administer, monitor, and maintain systems supporting Python and data science workloads.
Develop Python scripts to automate administration and operational activities.
Configure and maintain Python environments, packages, and dependencies.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot application and infrastructure-related issues.
Automate repetitive operational and administrative processes.
Support deployment and maintenance of Python-based applications and data workflows.
Work with technical teams to resolve environment, configuration, and performance issues.
Maintain technical documentation and follow established operational processes.
Provide production support and perform root-cause analysis for system issues.
Must-Have Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Python.
Experience using Python for scripting and automation.
Good understanding of Linux/Unix system administration.
Experience troubleshooting system and application issues.
Understanding of Python libraries and environments used in data science.
Good knowledge of scripting, monitoring, and operational support.
Good-to-Have Skills
SQL and database knowledge.
Exposure to data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
Knowledge of Git and CI/CD processes.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Experience supporting data engineering or machine learning environments.
