Job Description – NDT Technician
Experience: Minimum 3 Years Mandatory Skill: Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Industry: Fabrication & Heavy Fabrication Manufacturing
Key Responsibilities
Perform Ultrasonic Testing (UT) on weld joints and fabricated components to identify internal defects and ensure weld quality.
Conduct NDT inspections on heavy fabrication products, structural components, and welded assemblies as per approved procedures and applicable standards.
Interpret UT test results, identify weld defects, and prepare inspection reports with accurate documentation.
Ensure compliance with applicable NDT standards, welding quality requirements, and customer specifications.
Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to resolve weld quality issues, support corrective actions, and ensure timely inspection clearance.
Mandatory Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in fabrication and heavy fabrication industries.
Hands-on experience in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) is mandatory.
Knowledge of weld inspection, defect identification, and NDT reporting.
NDT/UT certification as per applicable requirements is preferred or required based on the project specification.
