Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP SRM Senior Consultant with 6 to 9 years of hands-on functional expertise to lead and deliver end-to-end SAP SRM implementations, system enhancements, and production support. The ideal candidate will have deep functional knowledge of SAP SRM modules, seamless integration capabilities with SAP ECC (MM, FI, SD), and strong experience managing custom developments, workflows, and incident/change management processes.
Key Responsibilities
Implementation & Project Delivery: Lead and deliver end-to-end SAP SRM implementation, roll-out, enhancement, and support projects across Classic, Extended Classic, and Decoupled technical scenarios.
Core SRM Configuration: Configure and support key SRM business processes including:
Shopping Carts & Purchase Orders (PO)
Sourcing, Bidding, and Auctions
Catalog Management & Contract Management
Approval Workflows (Release Strategies, C1/C2 Levels)
Integration Management: Ensure seamless integration between SAP SRM and SAP ECC core modules, specifically MM (Materials Management), FI (Financial Accounting), and SD (Sales and Distribution), along with SAP PI/PO interface configurations.
Requirements & Specifications: Engage with key business stakeholders to translate complex functional requirements into robust SAP solution architectures. Draft functional specifications for custom developments and collaborate closely with ABAP and PI/PO technical teams.
Workflow & BRF: Configure and manage SAP SRM Organizational Structure (PPOMA_BBP), Business Rule Framework (BRF), and BAdI enhancements.
Testing & Training: Design test scripts, conduct end-to-end System Integration Testing (SIT), coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and deliver structured end-user training.
Production Support & Incident Management: Manage and resolve complex L2/L3 incidents, service requests, and change requests within defined SLAs using ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, SAP Solution Manager).
System Maintenance & Optimization: Support SRM system upgrades, analyze and apply relevant OSS notes, and optimize system performance.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Guide and review the deliverables of junior team members, participate in regular client meetings, provide status reports, and effectively manage stakeholder expectations.
Required Technical Skills & Qualifications
Core Functional Skills:
6–9 years of dedicated experience in SAP SRM functional consulting.
In-depth understanding of Classic, Extended Classic, and Decoupled deployment models.
Hands-on expertise in SRM Organizational Structure (PPOMA_BBP) and Portal UI configuration.
Strong working knowledge of Business Rule Framework (BRF) and BAdI implementations.
Integration Expertise:
Demonstrated integration experience between SAP SRM and SAP ECC (MM, FI, SD) via SAP PI/PO.
Technical & Technical Coordination Skills:
Basic ABAP debugging skills to assist in functional root-cause analysis and troubleshooting.
General understanding of SAP Basis and Security coordination for role assignments and authorization profiles.
Process & Support Expertise:
Proven experience with ITIL processes, SLA compliance, and ticketing tools (ServiceNow, SAP Solution Manager).
Soft Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for managing client interactions.
Proven leadership abilities to mentor junior team members and manage cross-functional deliverables.
