We build and run expert contributor teams for AI labs and data companies, including Mercor, Micro1, Turing, Handshake AI and Snorkel AI. 35,000+ candidates on our network, 1,000+ roles delivered, across coding, STEM, research, linguistics, annotation and professional services.
We are hiring a Project Manager to own AI delivery engagements end to end: the client on one side, the contributor pod on the other, and the numbers in between.
What You Will Own
One or two client accounts end to end. You are the person the client writes to, and the person our delivery pod reports to.
Project setup: read the client's spec and rubric, turn it into working instructions, resolve ambiguity with the client before work starts, and define what good output looks like.
Throughput and quality. Daily allocation across the pod, weekly targets, quality sampling, and the escalation when either slips.
Client engagement: the recurring call, the weekly status note, the escalations, and the open-items list that actually closes.
Performance dashboards and payout tracking. You build the sheet, you defend the numbers.
Contributor lifecycle: onboarding, offboarding, compliance checks and policy enforcement.
Coaching one or two junior associates as the pod grows.
What We Are Looking For
1 to 4 years in project management, program management, delivery, client servicing, consulting or operations. Experience in AI training data, BPO, KPO, staffing or a services business is an advantage.
A track record of owning a client relationship, not just a task list.
Strong written English. Our client communication is almost entirely written.
Fluency in spreadsheets, and the instinct to build a tracker rather than ask for a status update. SQL, Python or a BI tool is a plus.
Calm under escalation, and comfortable saying no to a client with a reason.
A plus, not a requirement: split working hours
Several of our clients are in the US. If you are open to a split shift, roughly half the day in Indian business hours and a block reserved in the evening or night for client calls and coordination, say so in your application. It is not a filter, and candidates without it are fully considered, but it is a genuine advantage for this role and is reflected in compensation.
Compensation
Rs [confirm band before posting, suggested 7 to 14 LPA] depending on experience, plus a performance-linked variable.
Night or split-shift allowance where applicable.
