Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technician role based in New Delhi. The Technician will assist with the installation, testing, and maintenance of solar power systems and related electrical components. Daily responsibilities include reading and interpreting technical drawings, preparing tools and materials, performing wiring and connections under supervision, and conducting basic troubleshooting of system performance issues. The role also involves following safety procedures, documenting work completed, and supporting senior technicians and engineers during site visits and inspections. The Technician will interact with clients in a professional manner, helping ensure that projects are completed on time and to quality standards.
Qualifications
Ability to read and understand basic electrical diagrams, technical manuals, and installation guidelines.
Foundational knowledge of electrical systems, solar panels, inverters, and mounting structures.
Strong practical skills in using hand tools, power tools, and measurement instruments safely.
Attention to detail in installation, testing, and maintenance tasks, with a focus on safety and quality.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions.
Willingness to work outdoors, at height, and in varying weather conditions as required by project sites.
Relevant technical diploma or certification in electrical, electronics, or renewable energy (preferred).
Previous experience in solar or electrical installation and maintenance is an advantage but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
