Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and curious Full Stack Software Engineering Intern who wants to gain hands-on experience building real-world web applications, software products, and AI-powered solutions.
You will work closely with our engineering team to develop frontend interfaces, build backend APIs, integrate databases, and contribute to the development and deployment of production-oriented applications.
We encourage the use of AI-powered development tools such as Cursor, Claude, and GitHub Copilot to accelerate coding, debugging, and testing. However, we value strong fundamentals, logical thinking, code quality, and the ability to understand and validate the solutions you build.
This internship is ideal for aspiring software engineers who want to learn modern engineering practices, work on practical projects, and develop the skills required to build scalable software in an AI-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack web applications.
Build responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, and Next.js.
Develop backend APIs, application logic, and server-side functionality.
Work with databases to store, retrieve, and manage application data.
Integrate third-party APIs and external services into web applications.
Explore and implement AI-powered features using LLM APIs and AI development tools.
Use AI coding assistants to improve development speed while reviewing generated code for correctness and security.
Write clean, reusable, readable, and maintainable code.
Debug issues, test application functionality, and improve performance.
Use Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
Assist with application deployment, environment configuration, and basic cloud workflows.
Collaborate with the engineering team to understand requirements and translate them into working features.
Learn and follow software engineering best practices, including documentation, testing, and code reviews.
Required Technical SkillsFrontend Development
Basic understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with React.js or Next.js.
Understanding of responsive web design and reusable UI components.
Basic knowledge of TypeScript is an advantage.
Backend Development
Familiarity with Node.js and Express.js, or equivalent backend technologies.
Understanding of REST APIs and client-server architecture.
Basic knowledge of authentication, request handling, and server-side logic.
Database Management
Basic understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
Familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases is an advantage.
Understanding of CRUD operations and basic database design.
Development Tools
Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
Basic understanding of debugging, testing, and application deployment.
Exposure to Docker, CI/CD, or cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
AI-First Engineering Skills
We want interns who are curious about how AI is changing the way software is built.
You should be willing to explore:
AI coding assistants such as Cursor, Claude, and GitHub Copilot.
Using AI tools for code generation, debugging, testing, and documentation.
Integrating LLM APIs into web applications.
Building AI-powered features, intelligent workflows, and automation tools.
Evaluating AI-generated code rather than blindly relying on it.
Knowledge of Python, LangChain, vector databases, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), or AI agents is a plus, but not mandatory.
Required Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Basic understanding of programming fundamentals and object-oriented programming.
Familiarity with at least one programming language, preferably JavaScript or TypeScript.
Basic understanding of frontend and backend development concepts.
Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
Willingness to learn new technologies and work on unfamiliar technical challenges.
Ability to take feedback, collaborate with a team, and complete assigned tasks responsibly.
Genuine interest in software engineering, AI, and building practical applications.
Freshers are welcome to apply. Candidates with personal projects, GitHub repositories, hackathon experience, or deployed applications will have an advantage.
Good to Have
A personal portfolio or GitHub profile showcasing projects.
Experience building a full-stack application, even as an academic or personal project.
Familiarity with React.js, Next.js, Node.js, or modern JavaScript frameworks.
Exposure to AI APIs, chatbots, or automation projects.
Basic knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
Experience deploying projects using platforms such as Vercel, Render, or AWS.
Curiosity about SaaS products, enterprise applications, and scalable software systems.
