Project Estimator

Job Description:
Detail-oriented, reliable, creative team-player who is responsible for working closely with clients, project managers and discipline engineers to develop TIC estimates based on internal FEL packages. Individual interest in developing other project services skill sets such as cost controls, scheduling and procurement.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Develop TIC estimates for small capital projects (typically up to 15 million)
Develop basis of estimates for small capital projects
Coordinate and present directly to Project Team, Project Managers & Client for review
Ability to coordinate & organize multiple sources of engineering inputs into a project estimating deliverables
Participate in estimate kickoff, internal and external review meetings
Interest in developing supplemental project services skillsets (cost controls, scheduling, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Associates Degree or higher is preferred
Experience:
Min Yr = 5
Technical Skills:
Aspen In-Plant or Capital Cost Estimator (preferred, but not required) Background in engineering/construction; Strong Microsoft Excel skills; Familiar with scheduling methods and software such as P6, MS Projects
Management:
No management experience required
Other Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Obtain certifications and attend industry conferences through AACE
