DeHaat is one of India’s fastest-growing agri-tech companies and one of very few that serve farmers end to end, from seeds to market. Its platform covers soil testing, agri-inputs, cropadvisory, farm intelligence, credit and insurance, and selling the harvest to institutional buyers. Across 12+ agrarian states, DeHaat serves 5 M+ farmers through a network of 15,000+ DeHaat Centers and 500+ FPOs.
The role
This is not a shadowing internship, you’ll own a real problem end to end: understanding users, writing specs, working with engineering and design, shipping, and measuring impact.
What you’ll do
Talk to farmers, DeHaat Center partners, internal users. Turn what you learn into clear problem statements.
Prototype and test AI-led experiences.
Write PRDs and user stories for features across the farmer app, the partner app, and internal tools.
Define success metrics, build dashboards, and run analysis on funnels, cohorts, and retention.
Design and run experiments, including A/B tests, push and engagement campaigns, and pilots with DeHaat Centers.
Work with engineering, design, data science, business, and on-ground teams to get features shipped.
What we’re looking for
Final-year or pre-final-year student (or recent graduate) from IIT / NIT / IIIT.
Strong first-principles thinking. You can break a messy problem down without waiting for a framework.
Comfortable with data.
You use AI tools daily to research, prototype, analyze, and build, and you can show us something you’ve made with them.
Curiosity about Bharat. You want to build for users very different from yourself.
Good to have
A side project, hackathon entry, or product teardown you’re proud of
Prior internship in product, analytics, or a startup
Exposure to LLM APIs, no-code tools (n8n, Zapier, lovable, emergent)
