Program Lead

Role Description The Program Lead role is a full-time, on-site position based in Surat. The Program Lead will oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of agricultural programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and farmer needs. This role involves coordinating with internal teams and external partners, tracking program performance, and implementing process improvements for efficiency and impact. The Program Lead will interact regularly with farmer communities and DeHaat Centers, provide guidance and training to field teams, and ensure high-quality customer service and support. The role also includes preparing reports, analyzing program data, and sharing insights with leadership to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
Strong program management skills, including planning, coordination, and monitoring of multiple initiatives.
Well-developed analytical skills for interpreting data, measuring program impact, and recommending improvements.
Effective communication abilities for engaging with farmers, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
Experience in training and capacity-building for field staff or partner organizations.
Customer service orientation, with a focus on responsiveness, problem-solving, and relationship building.
Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, agribusiness, management, or a related field; advanced degrees are an advantage.
Experience in Agri-Tech, rural development, or field operations is highly desirable.
Proficiency in MS Office and comfort working with data and digital tools; knowledge of regional languages is a plus.
Ability to work on-site in Surat, travel within the region as needed, and collaborate in a diverse, inclusive environment.
